In conjunction with "Second Hand Guitars", the well known event dedicated to guitarists, on November 20th, 2011, the first edition of "RitmiShow" will be held in the Adromeda hall at the Quark Hotel in Milan. Tamburo, a Proel Group brand, will also be featuring.
RitmiShow is the event which is dedicated to percussionists and drummers. Its aim is to create a meeting point to increase the knowledge of instruments of this genre, and many companies (producers, distributors, importers) will be displaying their products.
Tamburo will take part in this by exhibiting one of its flagships: the "Opera Hybrid" drum set, in its new “Dark Red sparkle” colouring, along with some snare drums with brand new finishes.
Hybrid is the result of a series of studies carried out by Tamburo in cooperation with some endorsers. Completely original and hand-made, it was achieved through combined processing. On the outside, it shows all the features of a custom, but it uses a “bearing edge” obtained by a flow of epoxy resin: the result is a stunning instrument which offers a new range of sounds thanks to the high range of tunes available.
Marco Orsi, a strong Tamburo endorser, will also be at RitmiShow. Drummer since the age of 6, in 1984 he starts playing in the same orchestra where Lorenzo Poli was playing. The two strongly bonded and established a great rhythmic section together. In the early nineties he gets the chance to go on a tour with Viola Valentino. In 1992 the Charlie Band was born, an Italian rock songs cover-band which was a bit of a “mother” for all other cover-bands of those years. After that experience, Marco starts to collaborate with many important artists, such as Enrico Ruggeri, Nico Fortezza, Alex Carrieri, Andrea Mirò, Alessandro Bertozzi, David Stockdale, I Cani Sciolti, both live and in studio.
During RitmiShow, moments of consulting, demo and workshops with the exhibitors will be held.
